Dear Advisors at MyNation,
I am so glad to have found a forum such as yours.
I am desperately trying to get my child back to India. My son is 10 years old and was taken away to the U.K. on 10.02.2011 by my wife without my knowledge or consent.
He was operated on 03.02.2011 in Pune, Maharatshtra and his stitches removed on 10.02.2011. The same night he was abducted to the U.K. My wife is studying in a University in Wales, U.K.
I have filed a police complaint but to no avail.
My wife and I have been having diffrernces for some time and since last 7 months she was staying at her parents place. I used to take my son to school everyday during this period and was permitted to meet him on weekends based on my wife’s decision.
Request you to please advise a.s.a.p on the legal standing in India viz a vis U.K.
I was given advise to : a) file a private complaint, b) file for divorce and Custody of my child.
