Lemon Grass Tea

Ingredients

Lemon grass – A bunch(6 – 8 stalks)
Water – 2 cups

Directions

1)Cut bottom from stalks and discard. Remove any loose outer layer and upper end, if it is brown or dry. Wash and dry.

2)Cut stalks into one- to two-inch lengths and julienne.

3)Set julienned strips on a flat plate or basket in a warm dry place for a week or more to dry.

4)To brew, take a loose handful of lemon grass and place in a saucepan with two cups of water.

5)Bring to a boil.

6)Simmer for 12 – 15 mins.

7)Strain into a kettle.

:- Serve hot.
