Raw Ginger Chutney (Pachi Allam Pachadi)

Ingredients

1 cup grated ginger
5 green chillis slit length wise
small lemon sized tamarind
1 tbsp sugar or 2 tbsp grated jaggery
5 curry leaves
salt
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
oil

Directions

Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan. Add the curry leaves, ginger and green chillis and fry on medium heat till rawness disappears(3-4 minutes).Cool. Blend all the ingredients with salt. Dont add turmeric or red chilli powder for the green allam pachadi Serve with idli/dosa/vada and best with pesarattu.
