Fried Pothrade / Pothrado

Ingredinets:

5-6 colocasia/green collard
3/4 cup fresh coconut
1/4 cup toor dal
1/2 tea spn tamarind 
1/2 tbl spoon asapoitida (Hing)
1 tea spoon urad dal
1/2 tea spoon coriander seeds
4-5 red chillies / or Chilli Powder
Oil
Salt

Method:

Soak toor dal in water for an hour, or put it hot(not very hot) water for 10-15 minutes
With little oil fry urad dal and coriander seeds for a minute or two. Grind them with coconut,soaked dal, tamarind,asapoitida and salt without  water (keep it as dry as possible).

clean leaves and remove the thick veins of the leaves, or leaves are tender then,just crush it, so you can roll leaves easily.
Apply a layer of masala on the back of leaf as front side is more water proof,so masala will not stick. Keep another leaf on te first leaf and repeat till all the leaves have a masala coating on them.if you want big roll then add 5 leaves else 3 are enough.Roll them

Steam them with idlli making steamer for around 10-15min, as per size of pothrado. Leave cooker/steamer for another 10 minutes before open the steamer.

Take out and slice in to small pieces and fry,
