Kori puli munchi

Ingredients :-

1 kg Chicken (Make fist size pieces)
4 Whole Red Chillies
1 tbl spoon of cumin seeds(jeera)
1 tbl spoon of coriander seeds
3 teaspoons of vinegar

Both cumin and coriander seeds roasted on a flat pan with little oil.

Grind all together before finish just add little salt and small spoon of vegitable oil
Marinate the pieces of chickens and keep it at least for 3 to 4 hours.

For curry :-(4 Serve)

2 tea spoon chilli Powder
1 Tea spoon of Haldi Powder
4 Chopped tomatoes
2 Cloves of garlic , finely choped,
1 Full Cup of Tamarind water
2 medium size chopped Onions
1 Tbl spoon Mustard seeds
2 stems of Curry leaves
Vegitable oil
Salt to taste.

In a deep frying pan. Add oil, heat it,the mustard seeds should crack as soon as you add it. Add the onions till they are turn brown, lower the heat,
add garlic , curry leaves. Saute until you get the aroma of the garlic,
add the chilli and haldi powder, then turn up the heat and add chopped tomatoes,Tamarind water.
Add marinated chicken.
Increase the heat till it cook well then add the salt.

[For better taste fry marinated chicken in little oil with small chopped onion and garlic then add it to masala.]

  1. Its pretty nice dish and we had tasted in a hotel. Here in the ingredients, you have requested Tamarind water but did not mention when to add it.. forgot??
