Chana Sukka(Kadale Sukka) with coconut

Ingredients:

1 kg Black Chana.
1 Onion chopped.
Salt to taste.

Masala for grinding

½ coconut grated and roasted till dark brown.
10-12 Red Chilies.
1 tsp coriander seeds roasted.
1 tsp jeera roasted.
4-5 Garlic flakes.
Small lemon sized tamarind.

For seasoning

Oil.
1 tsp Mustard seeds.
1 onion chopped.
Curry leaves.
Garlic Flakes

Method:

Wash Kadle and cook with chopped onion, green chillies, ginger and Salt.
Grind all the masala and add masala to the cooked Kadle and boil for 10-12 minutes.

Heat Oil. Add mustard seeds and when splutters add onion and curry leaves and Garlic flakes.

Add this to the gram.
Cook for sometime till it gets dry.
