Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to transfer the investigation pending to Crime No.1439/16, first respondent in the file of Inspector of Police, P-6, Kodungaiyur Police Station to the third respondent in CBCID Chennai or some other competent agency as per law.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.1439/16, from the file of the first respondent to the third respondent or some other competent agency as per law.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecution submitted that subsequent to the enquiry conducted by the Revenue Divisional Officer, FIR in Crime No.1439/2016, was altered into one under sections 498A and 304B IPC and the alteration report was also filed before the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Periamet, Chennai-3.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
