1. Rule.   Mr.J.K.   Shah,   learned   Additional   Public 

Prosecutor, waives service of notice of Rule for the 

respondents.

2. This   application   dated   05.06.2017,   has   been 

preferred   by   the   applicant,   through   Jail,   with   a 

prayer to release him on temporary bail for a period 

of thirty days as his father is suffering from liver 

ailment and epilepsy. The applicant is undergoing life 

imprisonment   in   connection   with   offences   punishable

under   Sections   302,   304B,   498A   of   the   Indian   Penal 

Code,   1860   and   under   Sections   3   and   7   of   the   Dowry 

Prohibition Act, 1961.

3. We   have   considered   the   averments   made   in   the 

application   as   well   as   the   medical   papers   appended 

thereto, which reveal that the father of the applicant 

is habituated to consumption of liquor.

4. Though   the   conduct   of   the   applicant   in   Jail   is 

good,   we   do   not   find   the   reason   stated   in   the 

application very convincing.

5. Hence, the following order:

The   application   stands   rejected.   Rule   is 

discharged.
