HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE SANDEEP MEHTA
Judgment / Order
11/09/2017
Parties are present in person.
All requisite steps warranted under the order dated 8.8.2017
have been carried out in terms of the compromise deed
reproduced in the said order. The cases registered interse between
the parties in the Courts below have already been settled through
compromise. An application has been moved in the pending
divorce appeal for converting the proceedings into one under
Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act and is expected to come up
for consideration shortly. A petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has
also been filed for quashing the only remaining criminal case
registered for the offence under Section 498A IPC.
Today, Shri Abhimanyu Singh has handed over a demand
draft for a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- to Ms.Swati Chouhan. The gift
deed of the house referred to in the compromise has been
executed in favour of Swati Chouhan and key thereof has been
handed over to her today in the Court. In view of these
(3 of 3)
developments, it is apparent that the parties have resolved their
disputes through compromise and have parted ways happily.
Consequently, these revision petitions have been rendered
infructuous and are disposed of accordingly.
Stay petitions are also disposed of.
A copy of this order be placed in each file.
(SANDEEP MEHTA)J.
