Prayer in this petition is for directing the official respondents to

take action against respondents No. 4 to 6 on the basis of representations

dated 16.08.2017 and 21.07.2016 (Annexures P1 and P2).

As per affidavit dated 18.09.2017 of Smt. Gurjeet Kaur, SHO,

Women Police Station, Chandigarh, it is mentioned that FIR No. 94 dated

31.08.2017 under Section 498A IPC has been registered against respondent

No. 4 i.e. the petitioner’s husband.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the police

authorities have not proceeded against the other accused and neither added

the offence punishable under Section 406 IPC which is made out from the

allegations of the petitioner. However, at this stage, learned counsel for the

petitioner seeks to withdraw this petition with liberty to the petitioner to

avail remedy/remedies as may be available for redressal of her grievance, if

any.
