Judgments of Supreme Court of India and High Courts

Reena Dangi vs Bhagwan Singh on 17 January, 2018

THE HIGH COURT OF MADHYA PRADESH
1
FA- 197-2017
(REENA DANGI VS BHAGWAN SINGH ANR)

8
Gwalior, Dated : 17/01/2018
Shri Arman Ali, learned counsel alongwith the
appellant/ wife.

Respondent/husband is not present.

Counsel for the respondent Shri D.S. Tomar, states
that he has no instructions.

In view of the order passed by this Court on
19/12/2017 granting maintenance pendente lite of Rs.
6000/- for the wife and Rs. 3000/- for 10 years old son
and last opportunity afforded to the
respondent/husband to comply with the same on
10/01/2018., it appears that husband/respondent is
intentionally avoiding to pay the said compensation.

Learned counsel for the rival parties are heard on
the question of admission.

The appeal being arguable is admitted.

Since, respondent/husband has not paid any
pendente lite maintenance fixed by this Court despite
granting reasonable opportunity, let bailable warrant of
Rs. 25,000/- (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand Only)
with two solvent sureties of the like amount be issued
against the husband/respondent for securing his
presence before this Court on the next date of hearing.
