Prayer: Criminal Original petitions are filed under Section 482 of Criminal
Procedure Code, to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.5
of 2017 on the file of the respondent police within a stipulated period as
stipulated by this Court.

:ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, to
direct the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.5 of 2017 and
file a final report at early.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that
even though the respondent registered a case in Crime No.5 of 2017 under
Sections 498A and 406 of I.P.C., on 14.03.2017, so far the respondent has not
been filed a final report.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the
case is under investigation and he seeks three months time to file a final
report.

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the respondent is directed to
expedite the investigation and file a final report within a period of two
months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the aforesaid observations, this Criminal Original Petition is
disposed of.
