The petitioner seeks appropriate directions to the police

authorities to conclude the investigation in FIR No. 47 dated 03.03.21016

under Sections 420, 494, 498A IPC registered at Police Station Rama

Mandi, District Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar.

Reply dated 14.02.2018 by way of affidavit Sh. Satinder Kumar

(PPS), Assistant Commissioner of Police, Central, Jalandhar on behalf of

respondents No. 1 to 3 filed in Court today is taken on record subject to just

exceptions.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the final report under

Section 173 Cr.P.C. has been presented before the Court on 08.08.2017

against respondent No. 4. Respondents No. 5 to 7 have been found innocent

during investigation. The matter is pending before the trial Court.

In this view of the matter, no further direction is called for.

Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. Needless to say the petitioner is at

liberty to seek the remedy/remedies as may be available to her in respect of

any grievance/grievances which she may have including presentation of the

challan only against respondent No. 4 .

It is clarified that there is no expression of opinion on the

merits/genuineness or otherwise of the averments in this petition.
