… for the State
Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the
petitioner is in custody for 155 days and he has been falsely implicated in
the instant case.
Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for
bail.
Having considered the materials on record we find that the
petitioner is the husband of the victim housewife and subjected her to
torture resulting in her unnatural death within six months of marriage.
In view of the prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the
alleged crime, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this
stage.
The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

Having considered the materials on record prima facie
disclosing involvement of the petitioner in the alleged crime of
misappropriation of monies of the innocent depositors and the
fact that the petitioner has absconded for a protracted period of
time, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this
stage.
The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
