IPC, SO FAR AS PETITIONER IS CONCERNED.

WITH IA NO.1/2018 THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE
FOLLOWING:

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

Perused the records.

2. At this stage, there are certain allegations

made in the FIR against the petitioner and another for

the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 506 of

IPC, which requires to be investigated by the Police.

3. It is submitted by the learned HCGP that, the

investigation is almost completed, but the complainant

is not co-operating. The case is registered on

29.12.2016 in Crime No. 121/2016. Almost 1½ years

have already been elapsed. The Police have to swiftly

file a report to the court in accordance with law. There

is no explanation as to why such delay caused in

submitting report to the Court.

4. In the above circumstances, the

Respondent-Police are hereby directed to submit a Final

Report to the Court within one month from the date of

receipt of a copy of this order. If any adverse report is

submitted, then the petitioner is at liberty to approach

this court once again.

With the said liberty, the petition is dismissed.

In view of disposal of this case, the application-IA

No.1/2018 filed for stay, does not survive for

consideration. Accordingly, the said application stands

dismissed.
