The Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1952
2. Definitions – In these Rules unless the context otherwise requires –
(a) ‘Assessor’ means an assessor appointed under these Rules.
(b) ‘Commission’ means a Commission on inquiry appointed by the Central Government under Section 2 of the Commissions of Inquiry Act, 1952.
