2. Definitions.
(1) In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,
(a) Act means the Commission of Sati (Prevention) Act, 1987 (3 of 1988);
(b) prohibitory order means an order issued under Section 6;
(c) section means section of the Act.
(2) Words and expressions used but nor defined in these rules and defined in the Act shall have the same meanings as are respectively assigned to them in the Act.
