A huge court case is underway in Northern England that is bound to try to be ignored by the Main Stream Media, and so it is very important that we as MRAs take note of every aspect of what happens here. Jason Hatch and Jonathan Stanseby are on trial for the false imprisonment of one of the women in the English Labour Party and Ministers of State for Children, Young People and Families at the time directly responsible (along with the bureaucrat near you) for what is happening to fathers around the world. It is of interesting to see if the state will overplay their hand yet again, and like the Greeks hammer the messengers presenting those in power with bad news of the fact that fathers will not stand for what is going on any more. TWO Fathers4Justice activists handcuffed government minister Margaret Hodge at a conference to gain publicity for their campaign, a court heard today.
Jason Hatch, 34, and Jonathan Stanseby, 41, rushed the former children’s minister as she took part in a conference called “The Battle of the Sexes” at the Lowry Hotel in Salford in November 2004.
MP Ms Hodge who was Minister of State for Children, Young People and Families at the time, was left handcuffed to Stanseby for 15 minutes until she was freed by security staff using a pair of bolt cutters, Manchester Crown Court was told.
The pair rushed onto the platform as Ms Hodge, 62, took part in a question an answer session at the conference which addressed issues raised in a Government Green paper called: “Parental Separation; Children’s Needs and Responsibilities.”
…Prosecutor Alan Wolstenholme told a jury at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court Stanesby grabbed Ms Hodge’s left arm and said: “Margaret Hodge, I’m arresting you for child abuse.”
He then handcuffed himself to the politician.
…”As Stanesby grabbed the Minister of State’s left arm he said: `Margaret Hodge, I’m arresting you for child abuse.’ A struggle ensued as Natalie Perera got up to struggle with Hatch.
…Mr Wolstenholme said the handcuffs were “police style” with no chain and the locks had been glued fast so they could not be opened with a key.
“Margaret Hodge remained handcuffed to Stanesby for 15 minutes until police arrived. He attempted to speak to her but she tried to look away at all times and attempted to ignore him.
“Natalie Perera confronted him and asked how he could frighten a woman like this and he replied: `Do you know how many people have committed suicide?’
“Police were unable to unlock the handcuffs because they had been glued fast and a large pair of cutter had to be used to free the Minister of State.
The incident lasted 20 minutes and the Minister was left with nothing more than a sore wrist.”

“Both defendants were members of Fathers4Justice and were attempting to utilise that public function, involving a Minister of State to obtain publicity for their campaign for fathers’ rights…
…Mr Wolstenholme told the jury: “Your assessment should not be clouded one way or the other by the motives of the defendants.”
