Three men who mounted a protest on top of the M50 Toll Plaza in Dublin have been arrested for trespassing. Guards removed the men at around 12pm following their six-hour protest. They were calling for better rights for unmarried fathers and hung a banner across the plaza which read:
Quote: |
‘First class dads, second class citizens.’ |
The men were taken to Blanchardstown Gardan station but were released a short time ago. A file is being sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to the event.
