      I got married last year on August 2010. just after my marriage my wife started treating me like slave. She want me to stop all communication with my parents. She abuse and hit me in Public.

      She is threatening me to file 498A and DV case against me and my family.

      I just want to safeguard my parents.. In case my parents disown me legally, will that help, I want to safe my parents from humiliation at this age at any cost.

      Please please suggest something which i could do to ensure this if disowning help i will ask my parents to disown me

      Even they disown you now she can show some old date where she was harassed by them, so its no use.

      instead gather all the evidence and you sue her before she approch authorities.

      you can show her threats and beatings in your evidence.

      There are various things to be considered and suggested here. BTW, if you are located in India, it would be better if you attend weekly meetings … Local helpline numbers are present on the website.

      I have recorded the our phone call conversation using Phone call recorder. Is that valid ?
