      my wife has been looking to get seperated from me since a long time especially after the expiry of her brother her outburst grew much strenght, now she has accused me of infedility with another girl. she has now filed a maintenence case of treble the amount i earn plus she is pressurising at the women cell for filing of criminal case against me.

      She cannot get maintenance of amount worth thrice your salary if you provide relevant proof of your salary to the court. Infact the maintenance that can be claimed can be “at the most” 1/3 of what you get in hand after your proved expenses. Apart from that, there are different conditions of maintenance depending on the section she has filed it in.

      Dont be fearful of intimidation that she can file cases against you. Just try to protect yourself from harassment by taking all precautions. Also, if the cases are filed, you should face the same with courage like the thousands of people in India who have been implicated in many false cases since years.
