I AM FROM MAHARASHTRA. GOT MARRIED IN NOV2010 AND THEN WE REALISED THAT MY WIFE WAS MENTALLY DISTURBED.. AND WAS TAKING TREATMENT BEFORE MARRIAGE(I CAME TO KNOW THIS FRM MY SISTER IN LAW AND ALSO FROM MY WIFE) STILL WE WERE READY TO KEEP HER IF HER PARENTS AGREED THAT THEY LIED WITH US.. BUT HER PARENTS WERE BLAMING US THAT U MADE HER MENTAL.. AND MY FATHER TOOK HER TO HER MOTHERS PLACE.. AND THEN THEY FILED THE FALSE COMPLAINT AGAINST ME AND POLICE CAME AT MY HOME 2 DAYS BEFORE DIWALI.. ASKD FOR 2 LAKS. FROM WHICH ACCEPTED 50,000, STILL MY BROTHER AND MOTHER WERE ARRESTED AND I WAS ASKED FOR 1,50,000/- AND IF I WILL NOT GIVE THAT MONY THE POLICE SAID THAT UR FAMILY WILL STAY IN JAIL. AND IT HAPPENED. NOW I HAVE FILED THE COMPLAIN AGAINST THE POLICE. BUT NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN BY POLICE. I HAVE ALSO ASKED FOR QUASH/TRANSFER. CASE IN HIGH COURT.. I HAVE LOTS OF EVIDENCE TO PROVE THAT THE CASE IS FALSE.. I ALSO HAVE MANY EVIDENCE AGAINST THE POLICE THAT THEY ACCEPTED THE MONY FROM ME.
BUT THE PROB IS
1)POLICE OF OUR CITY SAYS THAT THEY CANT WRITE FIR AGAINST THAT POLICE OFFICERS.
2)THE COURT(HONEBL JUDJE) WHERE MY 498 CASE IS GOING ON IS TAKING PERSONAL INTREST IN MY CASE.
I HAVE ALSO FILED THE COMPLAIN UNDER SEC 12 IN MY CITY.
NOW I NEED TO KNOW ANY THING ELSE CAN I DO AGAINST THE POLICE, MY PARENTS IN LAW, ?

If police is not listening write/meet SP and give written complaint and take acknowledge from him so you can ask update/status by RTI later
and if IN laws gave statement like, they gave you dowry then you can charge them under DP3 too, read 3rd point here https://mynation.net/laws/bare-acts/dowry/dp.htm

with reference to your last comment..
instead of handing over written complaint and taking the acknowledgement by SP, can we send written complaint by speed post with acknowledgement. will it be helpful in tracking later by RTI?

yes you can do that;
when you write to SP mark same copy CC to IGP and Dy.Commisioner, so SP think you sent copy to both but actualy you are not sending it to them, nor SP is going to ask them…
its samll trick how i got reply/action to my every letters.

i have already submitted the copies to IGP and Dy.commisioner. i was called in police stn and was said that igp has given us orders to send the case in madhyapradesh state.. you cant file the case in our state. i asked them to show me the copy of orders.. they refused.

then ask IGP himself in RTI to give you the copies as told by office

i have sent a application thrugh rti to igp by speed post.
