IS POLICE AT FAULT ?

Thanks for your prompt reply. Can you please tell me how can I sue her for misusing the law. What points do I need to know. When she got the police to our home to take my son she only had a court decree with her. When I went on August 7th to take my son for meeting purpose, though I had given her in written and to the police station that I am exercising my right to meet my son then also the police station guys first said not to bring your complaint here if your wife is not allowing you to meet your son and take him to my place for meeting purpose. They told me to get directional orders from the court, further when I said I am going to Police headquarters they obliged to take my complaint. Now when in her case the police compelled me to give my son when she came to our house without intimation why did the police not help me to meet my son and bring him to my home for meeting purpose as per the direction of the court. The problem is I am not from around here and I do not know the laws, Please guide me Sir, Thanks.
