      Please advice how much maintenance money in Islam could my wife demand on divorce and also how much would be decided for my infant son and till what time period for both????? iam NRI and do not reside in India but basically from Hyd

      maintenance money is not based on Religion or sharia law; If she file appeal in court, its based on the status you live.

      She can demand upto 30% of your expenditure. if its NRI, obiously its more.

      same apply to Child support too.

      it will be continued till she get marry again and child mature.
