The parents-in-law of a married girl have pledged all her jewelry gifted by her parents at the time of marriage and on other ocasions. When she made a demand to return the jewelry, she has been driven out from her matrimonial home by one and all.

Do you have list of the things given to girl ? then you can do many things legally.

else you have to prove what you have given, to claim.

ok good, then can you prove, you left those things at your FIL house; coz many women calim even they take all things still they claim their FIL took/kept all things.

coz some women do this, so judges suspect about others,

as your FIL just deny taking such things, or can file RTI with income tax for the reciepts you submitted for the value/source of income etc.

Banks don’t pledge jewellery. They only pledge property or shares or life insurance policies.
