      What is the maximum maintenance amount for a resident Indian?

      Maximum is around Rs.3000 per month.

      Exceptions are very rare. and its also depends on how you Lived, living status, condition, place.

      Does that depend on the husband’s income ?

      In my case I have an earning of 46k out of which I had to pay 10,500 EMI now the lawyer says she can demand 30% of my gross income which will be far far more than 3000 which is said to be the max maintenance amount above.
