Ingredients:
1 Cup All purpose flour (Maida)
1 Ripe Banana,(Devbare,Poobare,Budhubale,Mysore is better – use 2, Avoid Nendrabale, or Cenvadish)
Half Cup Sugar
Half tbsp Yogurt
Half tsp Baking soda
Pinch of Salt (As required)
Oil for deep frying
Method:
Mash the banana very well without any lumps or whole pieces;
Add yogurt, baking soda and sugar and mix well.
then add flour and make dough, without adding any water.
Cover with a wet cloth and keep it for at least 6 hours; or over night is better.
if its too watery then add little flour and dough again.
Take a deep frying pan
Heat oil
Make small (4″) pooris
Fry till it turn brown.
serve with coconut chutney
