Ingredients :
Bengal gram 55gm
Mutton 500gm
Pepper to taste
Coriander powder 10gm
Turmeric a pinch
Cumin powder a pinch
Cinnamon powder a pinch
Lime rind a little
Egg 1
Fat to fry 30gm
Salt 10gm
Coriander leaves 1/2bunch
Onions rounds to decorate
Onion 55gm
Green chillies 10gm
Garlic a few flakes
Ginger a small piece
Method :
Soak gram for 2 to 3 hours.
Clean and cut mutton.
Boil together meat and gram and mince.
Chop half of the onion, garlic, green chillies and coriander leaves.
Grind remaineder.
Mix together gram, minced, meat, salt, all spices except chopped ones and lime rind; grind to a paste.
Bind with egg. Divide mixture into equal portions.
Place chopped spices and grated rind in the centre, form into balls. Flatten and shallow fry till brown.
Serve garnished with rounds of raw onion and chopped coriander leaves.
