Ingredients :
1 1/2 Meat or Chicken
1 cup curds
1 inch ginger
10 flakes garlic
3/4 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
10 pepper corns
6 kashmiri chillies
1 1/2 inch cinnamon
7 cloves
1/2 tsp saffron soaked in warm milk
half packet milk cream
(optional salt to taste 4 spoons sunflower oil 2 onions thinly sliced coriander leaves to garnish
Method :
Grind together ginger, garlic, cumin, pepper, kashmiri chillies, cinnamon and cloves with half curds. Apply this paste and the remaining curds to the meat along with salt to taste. Let it marinate for 1 – 3 hours. Fry sliced onions with oil till brown, add meat and fry it on high flame, add water and leave it to cook on a slow flame. When the meat is cooked add the saffron with milk stir well and add beaten cream and finally sprinkle with finely cut coriander leaves.
