Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that
petitioner no. 1 is in custody for 78 days and petitioner no. 2 is in
custody for 83 days.
Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for
bail.
Having considered the materials in the case diary disclosing
prima facie involvement of the petitioners in the alleged torture of the
victim housewife who committed suicide within four years after her
marriage and that the investigation is still in progress, we are not
inclined to grant bail to the petitioners at this stage.
The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
