The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Nakashipara Police
Station Case No.639/2018 dated 04.11.2018 under Sections
498A/304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioner is the husband of the victim who died within four years
from her marriage. The petitioner claims to have remained in custody for
more than 100 days.
The State says that there are credible statements of the petitioner
having demanded dowry and having inflicted torture on the wife for the wife
to be driven to commit suicide.
Though the other relatives of the petitioner may have obtained
anticipatory bail, the petitioner’s position is different.

In the light of the material against the petitioner, the petitioner is not
entitled to any relief at this stage.
Accordingly CRM 2366 of 2019 is rejected at this stage.
