Despite repeated opportunities, litigation expenses of
Rs.20,000/- have not been paid to the respondent-wife.
Learned counsel for the respondent-wife has pressed his
application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act for grant of
maintenance pendente lite and litigation expenses.
Learned counsel for the appellant informs that he had been
given assurance by the appellant to come to the Court and pay the money, a
number of times.
Since the litigation expenses of Rs.20,000/- despite repeated
opportunities have not been paid, the appeal deserves to be dismissed with
liberty to the appellant to get the appeal revived within a period of three
months on payment of costs of Rs.20,000/-. Ordered accordingly.
The application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act is
also disposed of with the liberty aforesaid.
