COMMON ORDER
Pending proceedings in C.C.No. 4547 of 2016, the defacto complainant/2nd respondent and the petitioners have amicably settled the dispute amongst themselves.

2. The petitioners are charged for offences under Section 498A, 312 IPC, on the file of the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai. Today, the petitioners as well as the defacto complainant are present before this Court and they are identified by the first respondent. The defacto complainant has filed an affidavit dated 5.9.2017 stating that she has no objection if the proceedings in C.C.No.4547 of 2016 are quashed.

3. Recording the statement made in the affidavit, the proceedings in C.C.No.4547 of 2016 on the file of the XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Chennai are quashed. The Criminal original petitions stand disposed of accordingly. Consequently, Crl.M.P.Nos.8627 of 2017 and 12806 of 2016 are closed.
