Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the

petitioner in FIR No.62 dated 01.07.2017 under Sections 406/498A IPC

registered at Police Station Amloh, District Fatehgarh Sahib.

It is informed that during the pendency of this petition, the matter

has been amicably resolved between the parties. Petition under Section 13B of

the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 has been filed. A sum of `7,00,000/- out of the

total settled amount of `20,00,000/- has been handed over to the complainant at

the time of recording of statements of the parties at first motion in the abovesaid

proceedings. Custody of the two minor children has been handed over to the

petitioner by the complainant. It is thus prayed that this petition be allowed.

Learned counsel for the complainant submits that the complainant

has no objection in case this petition is allowed in view of the settlement arrived

at between the parties subject to strict adherence to the terms and conditions of

the said settlement.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from SI Kulwant

Singh, verifies that the petitioner is not involved in any other criminal case.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances as above, specifically

the settlement arrived at between the parties, but without commenting upon or

expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed. In the

event of arrest of the petitioner, he shall be released on bail to the satisfaction of

Arresting/Investigating Officer. Petitioner shall comply with the conditions

stipulated in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
