This is a petition that has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C.

for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 33 dated

05.06.2017 under Sections 406/498A IPC, registered at Police Station

Women, District Bathinda.

By order dated 01.11.2017, while granting interim bail to the

petitioner the matter was referred to Mediation and Conciliation Centre of

this Court for amicable settlement between the parties, in which a settlement

agreement has been arrived at between the parties. As per the said

agreement, the parties have decided to part ways and file a petition under

Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act as well as to settle all disputes for a

sum of ` 50,000/-.

Heard.

In view of the fact that the matter stands settled, the petition is

allowed and interim order dated 01.11.2017 is hereby made absolute subject

to the condition that the petitioner will not tamper with evidence or hamper

the investigation; will not leave India without permission of the Court and

will comply with the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
