Learned counsel for respondent No.2 submits that this petition

seeking quashing of criminal complaint No.22/28.03.2014 under Sections 498A/

406/312/120B IPC titled as ‘Kulwinder Kaur v. Mandeep Singh and others’

pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Batala, has been rendered

infructuous as the said complaint has since been withdrawn by respondent No.2.

The matter, it is stated, was amicably resolved between the parties. Petition

under Section 13B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 filed by respondent No.2

and her husband has also been allowed on 16.03.2018.

In view of the withdrawal of the complaint in question, the present

petition is dismissed having been rendered infructuous.

As there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners today and

copy of the order withdrawing the abovesaid complaint is not available, liberty is

afforded to the petitioners to move an appropriate application in this case, if the

factual position is not as above.
