Learned State counsel, on instructions of ASI Jasminder Singh,

Police Station Urban Estate, Patiala, submits that on the complaint (Annexure

P-2) moved by the petitioner, FIR bearing No. 10 dated 16.5.2018, under

Section 498A IPC has been registered with Police Station Women, Patiala and

the matter is still under investigation.

Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner has

made statement withdrawing the present petition.

Present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

However, directions are issued to the respondents to ensure speedy

disposal of the investigation and to ensure expeditious presentation of challan,

preferably within a period of three months, from the date of receipt of copy of

this order.
