ORAL ORDER

1. Learned advocate of the petitioner is absent. Mr. Rathin Raval,
learned advocate for respondent has tendered a copy of order
dated 11.11.2019 passed in Criminal Misc. Application No.
20822 of 2019 for quashing of the FIR for offence under
Sectionsection 498A of IPC. The order reads as under:

“Leave to amend.

Notice returnable on 17.2.2020. Learned APP waives service
of notice for the respondent – State. Meanwhile, no coercive
steps shall be taken against the applicants.

Considering the nature of relationship and dispute involved in
the matter, the parties are directed to explore possibility of
settlement through the Mediation Centre, High Court of
Gujarat.

Registry is directed to refer the subject matter of present
application to the Mediation Centre annexed with the High
Court of Gujarat for the purpose of exploring possibility of
settlement. Learned Mediator shall submit its report before this
Court on or before 23.1.2020.”

2. It is clear from the aforesaid order that considering the nature
of relationship and dispute between the parties, the matter is
referred to Mediation Center, High Court of Gujarat for
exploring possibility of settlement between the parties.
Learned Mediator is requested to submit the report on or
before 23.01.2020.

3. Mr. Raval urges the Court to keep the matter on 11.12.2019 so
that he can have a word with the learned advocate for the
petitioner in the interregnum period.

Hence, S.O. to 11.12.2019.
