It appears from the communication made by the investigating officer
attached to Heria Investigation Centre under Khejuri Police Station that one Dr.
Pradip Kr. Das of Purba Medinipur District Hospital, who conducted the post
mortem of the victim, is yet to submit his report.
It is unfortunate that despite eight months having passed by since
the alleged unnatural death of the victim, the post mortem report is still not
ready.
The Director of Health Services, West Bengal and the Director of
Prosecution, West Bengal are directed to ensure that the post mortem report is
made ready and placed before us on September 11, 2017,
The Registry is directed to serve a copy of this order on the said
directors by tomorrow positively.
Till such time the application is considered next, the petitioners shall
not be arrested.
Put up this application on September 11, 2017 under the heading
‘For Orders’.
