In Re: Apurba Show @ Apu Show Anr. – petitioners

Mr. Debarshi Brahma. … for the petitioners.

Ms. Rita Datta. … for the State.

The petitioners are seeking bail in connection with a case relating to

offences punishable under Sections 498A/Section306/Section304B/Section34 of the Indian Penal Code

read with Section 3/Section4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

The learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that

the petitioners are in custody for about 71 days and charge sheet has been

submitted in this case.

The petitioners are the two brothers-in-law of the victim girl who committed

suicide at her matrimonial home, in the district of Howrah, West Bengal. The

petitioners are the ordinary residents of Hyderabad. The principal accused, that is,

the husband of the victim girl is on bail.

Considering the facts of the case, when both the petitioners reside at

Hyderabad, we are inclined to enlarge them on bail upon furnishing a bond of

Rs.10,000/-(rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of like amount, one of

whom shall be local subject to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial

Magistrate, Howrah. The petitioners shall ensure their appearances before the

learned Trial Court on the dates fixed for their appearances.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties

expeditiously, if applied for.
