In both these writ petitions, the petitioners
have challenged the order dated 18.07.2016 passed by
the Family Court, whereby the husband (petitioner in
Writ Petition No.6338 of 2016) has been directed to pay
amount of Rs.2500/- per month to the wife (petitioner in
Writ petition No.2026 of 2018) towards maintenance
pendente lite from the date of her application. The
arrears as on today come to about Rs.97,500/- and it is
an admitted position that the petitioner/husband has
not deposited a farthing towards the said amount.
Notice was issued in Writ Petition No. 6338 of 2016 on
16.12.2016 and the wife has already filed her
submissions before this Court.

Before proceeding with the hearing of the
present writ petitions, this Court is of the opinion that
the petitioner in Writ Petition No. 6338 of 2016 needs to
be directed to deposit specific amount to show his

bonafide. Accordingly, the petitioner in Writ Petition No.
6338 of 2016 is directed to deposit an amount of
Rs.50,000/- on or before 26.04.2019 in the Court of Civil
Judge, Senior Division, Warora in H.M.P.No.110 of 2015,
failing which the said writ petition shall be listed for
dismissal on 29.04.2019.

List both the writ petitions together on
29.04.2019.
