Petitioner no.1 husband and respondent no.2 wife jointly
seek quashing of FIR which is under sections 498A, 406, 504, 506
an 34 IPC.
2. Parties jointly inform that in the proceedings instituted by
respondent no. 2 for grant of divorce, settlement was reached and
accordingly those proceedings are being transformed into one for
grant of decree of divorce by mutual consent.
3. The consent terms are also produced before the Court in HMP
No.16 of 2016 on 11/1/2019.

4. Respondent no.2 has tendered affidavit before this Court
today and she accepts the settlement and consent terms.
5. In view of joint request, we make the rule absolute in terms of
prayer clause (a).
