Heard Sri Daya Ram Yadav, learned counsel for the applicants and learned A.G.A. for the State.

The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for quashing the entire proceedings arising out of Charge Sheet No. 1 of 2017 dated 20.06.2017, Case Crime No. 468 of 2016, under Sections 498-A, Section323, Section504, Section506, Section507 I.P.C. and 3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station- Nauchandi, District-Meerut in Case No. 2009 of 2018 (State Vs. Ankit and others), pending in the Court of A.C.J.M. 1st, Meerut.

As the dispute is regarding the husband and wife, earlier vide order dated 06.02.2019, this Court referred the matter to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre. Pursuant to the said order, the parties appeared before the mediator wherein the settlement dated 25.02.2019 was arrived at between the parties on the following conditions which are quoted herein under:

(a) That Ankit Pahuja and Disha Arora hereby reiterate the terms of compromise deed dated 31.10.2018 as well as contentions made in the petition-DMC 1642 of 2018 pending in the Court of District Judge, Jalandhar and the same is being made part of this settlement-agreement also.

(b) That Disha Arora requests Ankit Pahuja to make the payment of Rs. 12.5 lacs by RTGS to which Ankit Pahuja has agreed to comply in accordance with the compromise and assertions made in the petition.

(c) That Disha Arora requests that the payment of aforesaid 12.5 lacs be transferred to her A/C No. 022651100002772, Yes Bank, IFSC Code-YES0000226, account holder name Disha Arora to which

Ankit Pahuja agrees to make necessary payment on or before 2nd March 2019.

(d) That subject to payment of aforesaid amount Disha Arora has no objection if the Hon’ble Court is pleased to allow the present Application u/s 482 No. 44636 of 2018, and Case Crime No. 468 of 2016, u/s 498A, 323, 504, 506, 507 SectionIPC and Section 3/4 D.P. Act, P.S. Nauchandi, District-Meerut in case no. 2009 of 2018 (State Vs. Ankit and others), pending in the Court of 1st A.C.J.M., Meerut be quashed.

In view of the above, the present proceedings of Case Crime No. 468 of 2016, under Sections 498-A, Section323, Section504, Section506, Section507 I.P.C. and 3/4 D.P. Act, Police Station- Nauchandi, District-Meerut in Case No. 2009 of 2018 (State Vs. Ankit and others), pending in the Court of A.C.J.M. 1st, Meerut, is hereby quashed.

The application stands allowed.
