Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the

petitioner in FIR No. 55 dated 12.08.2015 under Section 498A/406 IPC

registered at Police Station City Mansa-1, District Mansa.

It is submitted that during the pendency of this petition the

matter was amicably resolved. The petitioner and respondent No. 2 resumed

cohabitation and they are living together. The terms and conditions of the

settlement arrived at between the parties on 27.10.2017 were taken on

record and are attached with this file. It is, thus, prayed that this petition be

allowed.

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI

Shamsher Singh, verifies that the petitioner and respondent No. 2 are living

together at their matrimonial home in Uttar Pradesh.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances especially the

settlement arrived at between the parties but without expressing any opinion

on the merits of case, it is considered just and expedient to allow this

petition. Consequently, order dated 03.05.2017 is made absolute.
