AO/377/2019 on 21 October, 2019

AO No. 377 of 2019
Hon’ble Alok Singh, J.

Hon’ble Ravindra Maithani, J.

Mr. Ramji Srivastava, Advocate for the
appellant.

Mr. Bhupesh Kandpal, Advocate for the
respondent.

Challenge in this Appeal is the impugned
order dated 02.08.2019, passed by learned
Additional Judge, Family Court, Dehradun,
whereby an application under Section 24 of the
Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 has been allowed and
the appellant has been directed to pay Rs.
20,000/- per month maintenance pendente lite.

During the course of the arguments,
learned counsel for the appellant would argue
that the appellant is working on contract basis on
a cruise and he earns 717$ per month. In the
impugned order the Court has observed that
though a slip is filed showing the salary of the
appellant as 717$ per month but, it is neither
verified nor signed.

Let the appellant file documents with
regard to his salary slip duly authenticated by
competent authority. He shall also submit his
income tax return. He may file the above
documents within three weeks.

List thereafter.
