Hon’ble Ramesh Ranganathan, C.J.
Hon’ble Alok Kumar Verma, J.
Ms. Jasleen Kaur Sidhu, appellant, in person.
Sri B.D. Pande, learned counsel for the
respondent.
It is represented by the appellant, who appears in
person, that she had filed an application for discovery and
for providing certain documents such as income-tax returns
of the respondent; and against the order of the Family Court
dismissing the application, she has filed Writ Petition (MS)
No. 3106 of 2019, which is pending before the Single
Judge.
The present appeal is preferred against the order
passed by the Family Court rejecting the appellant’s claim
for grant of maintenance pendente lite; and in awarding
only Rs. 5,000/- as travelling expenses for the appellant’s
travel from Chandigarh to Dehradun to attend the divorce
proceedings before the Family Court.
As the appellant’s claim for maintenance, for
which she filed an application seeking discovery, forms part
of the very same proceedings before the Family Court, we
consider it appropriate to direct that both these matters be
heard together.
List this A.O., along with Writ Petition (M/S) No.
3106 of 2019, on 18th February, 2020 immediately after
“fresh cases”.
A counter affidavit in the writ petition shall be
filed in the meanwhile, and a copy thereof shall be sent to
the appellant at her address at Chandigarh, by registered
post acknowledgement due / courier, by the respondent
herein.
The interim order granted earlier is extended till
th
28 February, 2020.
