ORDER
The petitioners are accused in Crime No.542 of 2019 of Aluva Police
Station, which has been registered for offence punishable under Sec.498A
of the IPC.
2. The gist of the prosecution case is that the petitioners had
physically and mentally harassed the lady de facto complainant by asking
more dowry, etc. The 1st petitioner is the husband of the lady de facto
complainant and the petitioners 2 and 3 are the parents of the 1st petitioner.
3. Having regard to the nature of the allegations raised against the
petitioners, this Court is inclined to consider the plea for anticipatory bail.
Accordingly, it is ordered that in the event of the petitioners being arrested
by police in connection with the abovesaid crime, they shall be released on
bail on their executing a bond for Rs.40,000/- each and on furnishing two
solvent sureties for the like sum, both to the satisfaction of the
Investigating Officer concerned.

(a) Petitioners shall not involve in any criminal offences of similar nature.
(b) Petitioners shall fully co-operate with the investigation.
(c) Petitioners shall report before the Investigating Officer as and when
required in that connection.
(d) Petitioners shall not influence witness or shall not tamper or attempt
to tamper evidence in any manner, whatsoever.
4. If the petitioners do not comply with the directions, then the
benefit of the directions issued by this Court will automatically stand
vacated without any further orders.
5. If the petitioners violate all or any of the bail conditions, then
the jurisdictional court concerned will stand hereby authorised, to
consider the plea for cancellation of bail, if required, in accordance with
law.
With these observations and directions, the above Bail Application
will stand disposed of.
