THIS BAIL APPLICATION HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON 15.11.2018,

B.A. No. 7410/2018 -2-
ORDER
The petitioners are accused Nos. 2 to 4 in Crime No. 2260 of 2018
of Kottarakkara Police Station, Kollam for offences punishable under
Sections 498A, 323 and 34 of IPC.
2. The case of the prosecution is as follows:
The marriage between the first accused and the de facto
complainant was solemnized on 21.08.2017 as per their religious rights
and customs. The first accused has taken 46 sovereigns of gold
ornaments and thereafter they demanded more dowry from the de facto
complainant. The first accused did not give the ornaments which are
kept in the locker and also used abusive words against the de facto
complainant. The third accused also abused her and the 4 th accused had
poured water on the floor so as to cause slipping to the de facto
complainant.
3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the
learned Public Prosecutor.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioners argued that the
petitioners are innocent of the allegations levelled against the
petitioners. The case is essentially an outcome of matrimonial dispute.
Therefore, I find that it is just and proper to grant anticipatory bail to the

In the result, this application is allowed and the SHO, Kottarakkara
is directed to enlarge the petitioners on bail in the event of their arrest
