Petitioner complains of police inaction.
Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits
that, the husband of the petitioner died after a long illness.
During the period when the husband of the petitioner was
ill, the two sons of the petitioner were not looking after the
petitioner and her husband. One of them left the house to
live elsewhere. The other son is living with her. They are
making life miserable for the petitioner. Before his death,
the husband of the petitioner gifted the immovable property
to the petitioner. The sons of the petitioner are pressurizing
the petitioner to part with the property.
State and the private respondents are represented.
Learned Advocate appearing for the private respondent
nos. 8 to 11 submits on instructions that, there is a
complaint under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code
lodged by the respondent no. 9 against the petitioner and
the respondent no. 8. He submits that, the writ petition is a
counter blast to such First Information Report. He submits
that the First Information Report was lodged on July 17,
2019. The writ petition was affirmed on July 29, 2019.
Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that
the complaints are under investigation. She submits that
the police are maintaining the peace and public tranquility
at the locale.
In the facts and circumstances of the present case, the
police will continue with their investigation, without being
influenced by any observations made by this Court, in
respect of every complaint received by them till date.
The police having taken steps as noted above, no
further interference is called for.
W.P. 14826(W) of 2019 is disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
Urgent photostat copy of this order, if applied for, be
given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
