1. By filing this revision petition, petitioner has prayed

for early disposal of the petition under Section 25, 12, 7, 8 of the

Guardian and SectionWards Act pending before the Principal Judge,

Family Court, Gurdaspur.

2. The marriage between the parties was solemnized on

03.08.2014 according to Hindu rites and ceremonies. Out of the

wedlock, two children namely Vaibhav (son) and Jannat

(daughter) took birth on 22.02.2007 and 03.12.2008

respectively. Vaibhav i.e. the son is in the company of the

petitioner whereas Jannat i.e. the daughter is in the company of

the respondent.

3. A petition under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act

was filed on 24.02.2016 which was decreed on 12.03.2018,

against which FAO-M No.119 of 2018 is pending in the High

Court.

4. In the petition filed under Section 25, 12, 7, 8 of the

Guardian and SectionWards Act, petitioner has already concluded his

evidence on 28.02.2018. Thereafter, the case was adjourned to

06.03.2018 for evidence of the respondent. Since then, the case

has been adjourned for about 29 times for the evidence of the

respondent. Only one RW has been examined so far.

5. Keeping in view the facts and attending

circumstances of the case, I deem it appropriate to direct the

Principal Judge, Family Court, Gurdaspur to take up the case by

granting short adjournments and make every endeavour to

decide the case at the earliest, preferably within a period of 08

months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

6. Disposed of.
